Yin Yoga is a more meditative approach to a deep physical practice. This sequence of Yin postures are held for a long period of time to target the deep connective tissues of the body and to promote the flow of energy particularly in the core body and hips.
This class is designed to counter the negative effects of a busy Yang lifestyle, sitting for long periods of time, or any sport that can create imbalance in the body. The practice is intended to facilitate a connection to the more Yin aspects of our physical, emotional and spiritual selves.
Blankets, blocks and a bolster will be used. If you have your own props, please bring them.
